Highway Clean Up

Twice per year Neepawa Rotary Club cleans the ditches on a stretch of highway west of the town. This spring, and again on October 7, they teamed up with a number of staff members from the Neepawa Middle School. The volunteers from the school are generally much younger than most of the Rotarians and it is a pleasure to have these energetic people as partners. Highway cleanup is a perfect social distancing activity and a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise...and of course build relationships with potential Rotarians.

The Neepawa Rotary Club is proud of it's connection with the schools in the community. As well as providing an annual scholarship, they work with students on annual food drives, make contributions toward equipment at the schools, and provide funding for Peer Helpers. Most years they have a cribbage day where they spend 2 hours teaching and playing cribbage with students from the middle years school.
