The San Miguelito School has been a work in progress over several years, and has become a beautiful school, with 5 classrooms, a computer lab, kitchen, washrooms, principal's office, storage room, cemented playground, fencing and retaining walls.

What a huge difference this school has made to the community of Santa Eulalia! Thanks to the Rotary Clubs of Gimli, Selkirk, and Brandon, Manitoba, and Kenora, Dryden and Dundas Valley Sunrise in Ontario, for supporting the construction of this school through its many phases.

The computer classroom has been built, and all security measures taken to support the installation of 16 computers and furniture. The teachers at San Miguelito will be trained not only on the use of the computers, but also the maintenance of them so they will be properly taken care of. The computers are being supplied through the Ripple Effect Program, with funds from RCs of Kenora and Regina Eastview, with matching funds from DFATD/CRCID. The computer project includes 5 schools in all that will receive equipment and training.
